This rolling pendulum maxwell wheel apparatus is used to demonstrate the conservation of mechanical energy. When the wheel is rotated by hand to the top and released, its potential energy will turn into kinetic energy (rotation) as it falls. After the wheel reaches its bottom position, the kinetic energy will change back to potential energy when it moves up again. This process will continue on until the total energy is lost due to friction.

The 175-gram solid metal rotor has a moment of inertia of about 2 x 10-5 kgm2. The gyroscope is mounted on a gimbal ring and comes with two stands, one with a rotating frame and the other with rocker feet. A 60-cm starting cord and handle are also supplied. Highly recommended for the classroom setting!

Negative pressure experiment can also be done. When the experiment stops, the screw rod will reach the lowest end. Put boyle's law apparatus in a dry place.

A good introduction to the concept known as Boyle’s law, it helps to demonstrate the relationship between pressure and volume of air at constant temperature. Use in classroom demonstrations, science projects and more.
